AssetBolt includes a lightweight self-service portal for employees who don't need the full admin dashboard. It's reachable at /portal and covers two things: seeing what's assigned to you, and asking for new equipment.
The My Assets page has two sections:
Shows every device currently assigned to you, with its name, asset tag, serial number, model, category, manufacturer, and location. Each device shows a status badge using the same statuses as the main app: Available, Pending, Assigned, Checked out, Archived, or Broken.
A table of the equipment you've requested, showing:
Asset type
Justification
Urgency
Status (for example Pending)
When it was requested
If a reviewer left a note when responding to your request, it appears under the justification.
While a request is Pending, you can cancel it. Cancelling shows a confirmation dialog; the button shows a loading state while the cancellation is in progress, and you can't dismiss the dialog until it finishes.
Use Request New Equipment to open a form and submit a new request for a reviewer to act on.
The portal has its own notification bell. Clicking through to a notification's related resource (a device, license, accessory, and so on) takes you to that resource's page inside the portal rather than the admin dashboard.
The portal's navigation is responsive. On small screens it collapses behind a menu button; opening it shows a slide-out panel with a dimmed backdrop, and choosing a page or tapping the backdrop closes it again.
